Job Title: International Student Advisor

Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced International Student Advisor to join our dynamic team. As an International Student Advisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting and guiding international students throughout their academic journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive and accurate guidance to international students on admissions, enrollment, and visa requirements
• Conduct orientations and workshops to assist international students in adapting to the academic and cultural environment
• Serve as a liaison between international students and various departments within the institution
• Collaborate with academic advisors to ensure international students are meeting academic requirements and making progress towards their degree
• Develop and maintain a database of resources and services available to international students
• Monitor and track international students' academic progress and address any challenges they may face
• Stay updated on immigration regulations and policies related to international students and provide timely advice to students
• Organize and participate in events and activities to promote cultural diversity and inclusivity on campus
• Assist with the development and implementation of programs and initiatives to enhance the international student experience
• Collaborate with international partners and organizations to facilitate exchange programs and study abroad opportunities for students

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in International Education, Counseling, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with international students in an academic setting
• Strong knowledge of immigration regulations and policies related to international students
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with students from diverse cultural backgrounds
• Proven ability to provide guidance and support to students in a professional and empathetic manner
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in a second language is a plus
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate international students' needs
