Position Title: Packaging & Containers Manager

Overview: As a Packaging & Containers Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the entire packaging and containers process for our company. You will work closely with suppliers, production teams, and other departments to ensure that our products are packaged and shipped efficiently, effectively, and in line with company standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of packaging and containers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement packaging and container strategies in line with the company's overall goals and objectives.
• Oversee the design and development of packaging materials, ensuring they are both functional and visually appealing.
• Collaborate with suppliers to source high-quality packaging materials at the best possible prices.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure timely availability of packaging materials for production.
• Work closely with production teams to ensure that all packaging and containers meet quality standards and are in compliance with regulations.
• Analyze and report on packaging and container costs, making recommendations for cost-saving measures.
• Develop and maintain relationships with shipping and logistics partners to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in packaging and containers, making recommendations for improvement and innovation.
• Train and manage a team of packaging and containers staff, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in packaging, engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in packaging and containers, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• In-depth knowledge of packaging and containers materials, processes, and regulations.
• Proven experience in cost management and negotiation with suppliers.
• Proficiency in using packaging design software such as ArtiosCAD or TOPS.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of quality.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
