Position: Instructional Design Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Instructional Design Specialist to join our team. As an Instructional Design Specialist, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing effective and engaging learning programs for our organization. You will work closely with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and other key stakeholders to design, develop, and deliver high-quality learning experiences that meet the needs of our employees and enhance their skills and knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify learning needs and design effective learning solutions that align with business objectives.
• Design, develop, and implement engaging and interactive learning programs using various instructional design methodologies, tools, and techniques.
• Create instructional materials such as e-learning modules, videos, job aids, and assessments to support learning objectives.
• Conduct thorough research and analysis to ensure accuracy and relevance of content.
• Utilize adult learning principles and instructional strategies to create learner-centered and impactful training programs.
• Implement assessments and evaluations to measure the effectiveness of learning solutions and make recommendations for improvement.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in instructional design and adult learning to continuously improve learning programs.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet project deadlines.
• Collaborate with the learning and development team to ensure consistency and quality of learning materials.
• Provide support and guidance to subject matter experts and other team members on instructional design methodologies and tools.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in instructional design, preferably in a corporate setting.
• Proficient in instructional design methodologies, such as ADDIE, SAM, and Agile.
• Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional strategies.
• Experience with e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Captivate, or similar.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
• Experience with learning management systems is a plus.
