Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Harvest Crew Leader to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agriculture and experience leading a team in a fast-paced environment. As the Harvest Crew Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our harvest crew and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of harvest workers, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
• Oversee the harvesting process to ensure that all crops are harvested in a timely and efficient manner.
• Monitor and maintain quality control standards throughout the harvesting process.
• Collaborate with the farm manager to plan and coordinate the harvesting schedule.
• Ensure that all equipment and machinery are properly maintained and in good working condition.
• Train team members on proper harvesting techniques and safety procedures.
• Communicate with other departments to coordinate the delivery and storage of harvested crops.
• Keep accurate records of harvested crops, including quantity, quality, and destination.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the harvesting process.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role in the agriculture industry.
• Strong knowledge of harvesting techniques and equipment.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer applications.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
