Position: Flight Operations Coordinator

Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Flight Operations Coordinator. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of our company's flights. You will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of flight operations, from flight planning to post-flight tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of aviation regulations and procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate all aspects of flight operations, including flight scheduling, route planning, and aircraft maintenance.
• Monitor and update flight schedules to ensure timely departures and arrivals.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures.
• Communicate with pilots, air traffic control, and ground personnel to ensure safe and efficient flight operations.
• Maintain accurate records of flight operations, including flight plans, fuel usage, and passenger manifests.
• Coordinate with ground staff to ensure that all necessary supplies, equipment, and personnel are available for each flight.
• Oversee aircraft maintenance and coordinate with maintenance personnel to ensure timely repairs and inspections.
• Conduct pre-flight and post-flight briefings to ensure that all crew members are aware of flight details and responsibilities.
• Participate in the development and implementation of new flight procedures and protocols.
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulations to ensure compliance and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Aeronautical Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in flight operations, preferably in a commercial airline environment.
• Strong knowledge of aviation regulations and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in computer systems and software, including flight planning and scheduling software.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
