Job Title: Courier

Position Overview: We are seeking a reliable and efficient Courier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent time management skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. As a Courier, you will be responsible for delivering packages and documents to various locations while providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver packages and documents to designated locations in a timely manner
• Plan and prioritize delivery routes to ensure efficient and timely deliveries
• Verify packages and documents for accuracy and completeness before delivery
• Obtain signatures and other necessary documentation upon delivery
• Communicate with customers regarding delivery status and any potential delays
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any delivery issues or concerns
• Adhere to all traffic and safety regulations while operating a delivery vehicle
• Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle
• Report any vehicle maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department
• Assist with loading and unloading of packages and documents as needed
• Keep accurate records of all deliveries and customer interactions

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a delivery or courier role
• Familiarity with local roads and neighborhoods
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing delivery schedules
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair
• Must pass a background check and drug screening
