We are seeking an experienced Curriculum Development Specialist to join our team and contribute to the creation and enhancement of our educational programs. As a Curriculum Development Specialist, you will play a critical role in the design, development, and implementation of our curriculum, ensuring that it meets the needs of our students and aligns with our educational goals.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and other stakeholders to identify learning objectives and develop course materials that meet those objectives.
• Conduct needs assessments to determine the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for different courses and programs.
• Design and develop instructional materials, including lesson plans, activities, assessments, and multimedia content, that engage learners and promote effective learning.
• Utilize instructional design principles and adult learning theories to create innovative and interactive learning experiences.
• Review and revise existing curriculum to ensure accuracy, relevance, and effectiveness.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in curriculum development and incorporate them into our programs.
• Conduct pilot testing and gather feedback from students and instructors to continuously improve the curriculum.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop marketing materials that accurately represent our programs and highlight their unique features and benefits.
• Provide training and support to instructors to ensure they are equipped to effectively deliver the curriculum.
• Stay informed on changes in education policies and regulations to ensure our curriculum remains compliant.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Curriculum Development, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of instructional design principles, learning theories, and best practices in adult education.
• Experience with curriculum development software and authoring tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
