Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Music and Book Specialist to join our team. As a Music and Book Specialist, you will be responsible for curating and managing our music and book collections, as well as providing expert recommendations and customer service to our clients. Key Responsibilities:

• Curate and maintain our music and book collections, ensuring a diverse and high-quality selection for our clients
• Keep up-to-date with current trends and releases in the music and book industries
• Research and acquire new music and book titles to expand our collections and appeal to a wider audience
• Develop and maintain relationships with music and book publishers, distributors, and other industry professionals
• Provide expert recommendations and advice to clients based on their preferences and interests
• Assist clients in finding specific music or book titles and provide excellent customer service at all times
• Organize and manage events and promotions related to music and books, such as book clubs, author readings, and live music performances
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to promote our music and book collections and drive sales
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, sales, and customer interactions
• Stay informed about industry news and developments, and make recommendations for improvements to our collections and services

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Music, Literature, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in a music and/or book-related role, such as a librarian, bookseller, or music curator
• Passion and knowledge for a wide range of music genres and book genres, including new and emerging artists and authors
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in using computer systems and databases to manage collections and track sales
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, as needed, to attend events and assist clients
