Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Educational Technology Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial role in developing, implementing, and supporting technology-based learning solutions for our educational institution. As an Educational Technology Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of educators, students, and administrators to enhance the learning experience and drive innovation in education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with faculty and staff to identify technology needs and develop strategies to integrate technology into the curriculum.
• Design and deliver professional development workshops and training sessions for faculty and staff on various educational technology tools and platforms.
• Support the implementation and integration of learning management systems, educational software, and other technology solutions.
• Develop and maintain online resources, tutorials, and guides for faculty and students to enhance their understanding and usage of educational technology.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in education to make recommendations for their integration into the curriculum.
• Provide technical support to faculty, staff, and students for educational technology tools and platforms.
• Conduct research and evaluation of educational technology tools and platforms to assess their effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with other Educational Technology Specialists to share best practices, resources, and support for educational technology initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an educational setting.
• Strong knowledge of learning management systems, educational software, and other technology-based learning solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to stay organized and manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
• Passion for learning and keeping up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in education.
• Experience in delivering professional development workshops and training sessions is a plus.
• Knowledge of instructional design principles and practices is a plus.
