Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and repair broadcast equipment including cameras, audio and video mixers, routers, switchers, graphics systems, encoders, and decoders
Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely solutions to ensure uninterrupted broadcasts
Monitor and maintain the integrity of the on-air signal and ensure all broadcast systems are functioning properly
Install and configure new broadcast equipment and systems
Conduct regular maintenance checks and calibrations on all broadcast equipment
Collaborate with other departments to plan and execute live broadcasts, ensuring all technical aspects are in place
Stay up-to-date with the latest broadcast technology and make recommendations for equipment upgrades and replacements
Train and mentor junior broadcast engineers and technicians
Create and maintain documentation of all broadcast equipment, systems, and procedures
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in broadcast engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field
At least 3 years of experience in broadcast engineering, preferably in a live broadcast environment
Strong knowledge of broadcast equipment and systems such as cameras, audio and video mixers, routers, switchers, graphics systems, encoders, and decoders
Experience with IT networking and server systems
Ability to work under pressure and troubleshoot technical issues quickly and efficiently
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong project management and organizational skills
Flexibility to work irregular hours, including nights and weekends
A passion for staying up-to-date with the latest broadcast technology and a willingness to continuously learn and improve
