Job Title: Knowledge Management Consultant

Role Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Knowledge Management Consultant to join our team and help drive our organization towards successful knowledge management practices. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, collecting, organizing, and disseminating knowledge within our organization to improve efficiency, productivity, and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement knowledge management strategies, policies, and procedures.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify knowledge gaps and develop solutions to bridge those gaps.
• Design and manage knowledge management systems, processes, and tools to improve knowledge sharing and collaboration.
• Conduct research and analysis to identify best practices and industry trends in knowledge management.
• Train and educate employees on knowledge management principles, processes, and tools.
• Lead the development and maintenance of knowledge repositories, databases, and portals.
• Monitor and evaluate knowledge management performance metrics and make recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the integration of knowledge management systems with other business applications.
• Stay updated with the latest knowledge management technologies and tools and make recommendations for implementation.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify and prioritize knowledge management needs and opportunities.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration through the use of social media and other communication channels.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external knowledge management experts and vendors.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Knowledge Management, Information Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in knowledge management or a similar role.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing knowledge management strategies, policies, and procedures.
• Strong understanding of knowledge management principles, practices, and tools.
• Experience in managing knowledge management systems, databases, and portals.
• Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in knowledge management software and tools.
• Certification in knowledge management is a plus.
