Responsibilities:

Plan and coordinate vessel movements, ensuring timely arrivals and departures.
Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Manage and optimize vessel utilization to minimize costs and maximize profitability.
Monitor and analyze operational performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Maintain strong relationships with clients and ensure that their needs are met in a timely and professional manner.
Lead and motivate a team of marine personnel, providing training and guidance to ensure high-quality performance.
Collaborate with other departments such as finance, logistics, and procurement to ensure seamless operations.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in maritime studies, logistics, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in marine operations management, preferably in the maritime industry.
In-depth knowledge of vessel operations, safety regulations, and industry standards.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven track record of successful project management and achieving operational targets.
Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficiency in relevant software and systems, including vessel tracking and management software.
Willingness to work irregular hours and be on call when necessary.
