Key Responsibilities:

Manage the day-to-day accounting activities of the company, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support decision making by senior management
Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all financial reporting
Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements
Monitor and review internal controls to identify and mitigate potential risks
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions
Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff
Assist with external audits and tax reporting requirements
Continuously improve and streamline accounting processes to increase efficiency and accuracy

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
CPA designation preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with demonstrated progression in responsibility
Strong knowledge of GAAP and experience with financial statement preparation and analysis
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proven track record of managing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines
Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is an asset
