Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Plastics Process Technician to join our team at PlastiTech. As a Plastics Process Technician, you will be responsible for setting up and operating plastic molding machines to produce high-quality plastic parts. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining the machines to ensure efficient production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate plastic molding machines according to production schedule
• Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines and molds
• Conduct regular maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
• Monitor and record production data, including output, scrap, and downtime
• Collaborate with production team to identify and implement process improvements
• Train and mentor junior technicians and machine operators
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent, technical degree preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Plastics Process Technician or similar role
• Strong knowledge of plastic molding machines and processes
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving machine issues
• Familiarity with maintenance and repair of plastic molding machines
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate production records
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
