Position Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Oil and Gas Production Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and profitable production of oil and gas from our wells. You will work closely with our production and operations teams to maximize production, minimize downtime, and optimize the performance of our assets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement production strategies to maximize output and minimize costs
• Monitor daily production rates and identify areas for improvement
• Conduct performance analysis and recommend solutions for well optimization
• Collaborate with reservoir engineers to develop production forecasts and plans
• Identify potential production issues and implement corrective actions
• Monitor production equipment and ensure proper maintenance and repairs are completed in a timely manner
• Develop and maintain production reporting systems
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety requirements
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to continuously improve production processes
• Mentor and train junior production engineers

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in oil and gas production
• Strong knowledge of production engineering principles and practices
• Experience with artificial lift systems and production optimization techniques
• Familiarity with production software and tools such as WellView, Spotfire, and Prosper
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Willingness to travel to various production sites as required
