Position: Curriculum Development Specialist

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Curriculum Development Specialist to join our team. As a Curriculum Development Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive curriculum that meets the needs of our organization. You will work closely with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and educators to create engaging and effective learning materials that align with our company's goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with subject matter experts and instructional designers to identify learning goals and objectives
• Develop and design a comprehensive curriculum that aligns with company goals and objectives
• Create engaging and interactive learning materials, including lesson plans, presentations, activities, and assessments
• Conduct thorough research and analysis to ensure curriculum is up-to-date and relevant
• Utilize various instructional methods and techniques to enhance learning and retention
• Review and revise curriculum as needed to ensure continuous improvement
• Provide support and guidance to educators in implementing the curriculum effectively
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in education to incorporate into curriculum development
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of all curriculum materials and revisions
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of curriculum with overall company strategy
• Continuously assess and evaluate the effectiveness of the curriculum and make necessary adjustments
• Attend conferences and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in curriculum development

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in curriculum development or instructional design
• Strong understanding of instructional design principles and learning theories
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other instructional design software
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Strong project management skills
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and meet tight deadlines
• Experience in developing curriculum for various learning platforms (e.g. online, in-person, blended)
• Knowledge of educational standards and regulations
• Demonstrated creativity and innovation in curriculum design
