Are you a highly skilled and experienced AWS Software Architect looking for a new and exciting opportunity? Look no further! Facility Care Community is seeking a talented individual to join our team as an AWS Software Architect.As an AWS Software Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining scalable and reliable cloud-based applications on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. You will also be responsible for continuously monitoring and optimizing the performance of our AWS infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement highly scalable and reliable cloud-based applications on the AWS platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for AWS infrastructure and applications.
• Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of AWS infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise in the AWS environment.
• Stay updated with the latest AWS services and features and make recommendations for their implementation.
• Mentor and guide junior team members on AWS best practices and standards.
• Conduct regular security audits and implement necessary measures to ensure the security of our AWS infrastructure.
• Work closely with the DevOps team to automate processes and improve efficiency.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in AWS architecture and design.
• Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing principles and best practices.
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, etc.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• AWS certifications are a plus.
