Position: Database Performance Tuner

Location: Washington, District of Columbia, United States

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze database performance metrics to identify areas of improvement
• Design and implement performance tuning strategies to optimize database performance
• Work closely with developers and system administrators to troubleshoot performance issues
• Identify and resolve database bottlenecks
• Develop and maintain database performance testing procedures
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in database performance tuning
• Create and maintain documentation related to database performance tuning procedures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve overall system performance

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in database performance tuning
• Strong understanding of database architecture and principles
• Proven experience with performance tuning tools and techniques
• Proficient in SQL and database query optimization
• Experience with database monitoring tools
