Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Flight Operations Manager to join our team. As the Flight Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the day-to-day operations of our flight department. This position requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a thorough understanding of aviation regulations and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure the safe and efficient operation of all flights
• Manage and supervise flight crew members, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations
• Oversee maintenance schedules and ensure all aircraft are properly maintained and in compliance with FAA regulations
• Coordinate with dispatch, ground support, and other departments to ensure smooth and timely flight operations
• Monitor and manage fuel usage, flight planning, and weather tracking to optimize flight operations
• Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement training programs for flight crew members
• Stay current on all aviation regulations and make necessary updates to company policies and procedures
• Develop and maintain relationships with external agencies, including air traffic control, airport authorities, and regulatory bodies
• Oversee the budget for the flight department and make strategic decisions to optimize costs while maintaining the highest level of safety and service

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in flight operations management
• Excellent knowledge of aviation regulations and procedures
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Proficient in using flight planning and tracking software
• Flexibility to work irregular hours and travel as needed
