Position: Databricks Engineer

Job Description: We are seeking a talented and experienced Databricks Engineer to join our dynamic and innovative team. As a Databricks Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining our data infrastructure on the Databricks platform. You will work closely with our data scientists, data engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of our data ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain our data infrastructure on the Databricks platform
• Develop, test, and implement data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into Databricks
• Collaborate with data scientists and data engineers to understand their data and infrastructure needs and provide solutions
• Monitor and troubleshoot data processes to ensure data reliability, accuracy, and availability
• Optimize and tune data pipelines for improved performance and scalability
• Develop and maintain documentation for data processes, infrastructure, and standards
• Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements and best practices in Databricks and data engineering

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data engineering, with at least 1 year of experience in Databricks
• Strong experience with Databricks, including Spark, Delta Lake, and SQL
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Scala, or Java
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modeling
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
