Job Title: Curriculum Development Specialist

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Curriculum Development Specialist!As a Curriculum Development Specialist, you will play a critical role in developing and enhancing our educational programs to ensure that they meet the needs of our students and align with current industry standards. You will collaborate with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and other team members to create high-quality, interactive, and engaging curriculum materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough research on industry trends, best practices, and educational standards to inform the development of curriculum materials
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify learning objectives, key concepts, and course content
• Develop and design curriculum materials, including lesson plans, handouts, assessments, and multimedia resources, using a variety of instructional techniques and technologies
• Ensure that all curriculum materials are aligned with learning objectives and meet the needs of diverse learners
• Conduct reviews and revisions of existing curriculum materials to ensure accuracy, relevancy, and effectiveness
• Continuously evaluate and improve upon curriculum materials based on feedback from students, instructors, and other stakeholders
• Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and instructional design trends to enhance the delivery of curriculum materials
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new curriculum initiatives and ensure consistency across all educational programs
• Train and mentor instructors on the effective use of curriculum materials and instructional techniques
• Participate in curriculum development meetings, workshops, and conferences to share best practices and contribute to the overall improvement of curriculum materials

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in curriculum development or instructional design
• Strong understanding of learning theories, instructional design principles, and educational technologies
• Experience working with subject matter experts and incorporating their expertise into curriculum materials
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and concise manner
• Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficiency in instructional design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite, Articulate Storyline, or Camtasia
• Experience working with learning management systems is a plus
• Passion for education and a commitment to creating high-quality, engaging curriculum materials
