Position: Application Architect
Company: SoftLink Software
Location: Sigave, Wallis and Futuna
We are seeking an experienced Application Architect to join our dynamic team. As an Application Architect, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing scalable and secure applications that meet the business needs of our organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of solutions that align with our company's objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance applications that meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, identify opportunities for improvement, and provide technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain application architecture and design standards, frameworks, and guidelines.
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to development teams to ensure high-quality and efficient code.
- Define and document system requirements, technical specifications, and architecture diagrams.
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies to drive innovation and improve application performance.
- Lead the development of proof-of-concepts and prototypes to validate new technologies and solutions.
- Ensure adherence to industry best practices and standards for application development, security, and data privacy.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for production applications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in application development, with at least 3 years in a lead architect role.
- Strong knowledge of software development principles and design patterns.
- Experience with developing applications using modern web and mobile technologies, such as Angular, React, Node.js, and React Native.
- Experience with cloud-based platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, such as MySQL, MongoDB, and Cassandra.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven track record of delivering successful and complex projects on time and within budget.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Industry certifications, such as TOGAF, AWS Certified Solution Architect, or Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect, are a plus.
