Position: Laundry Attendant

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Laundry Attendant to join our team. As a Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our laundry facilities and providing exceptional service to our guests. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sort, wash, dry, and fold linens and other items according to company standards
• Operate and maintain laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and ironing machines
• Inspect linens for stains, tears, and damage, and report any issues to management
• Maintain inventory of linens and supplies, and restock as needed
• Keep laundry facilities clean and organized, including sweeping, mopping, and wiping down machines
• Respond to guest requests and inquiries in a timely and friendly manner
• Follow all safety and sanitation protocols to ensure a clean and safe work environment
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of all laundry tasks
• Assist in training new laundry attendants as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a laundry attendant or in a similar role preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy items, such as laundry bags and carts
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Basic knowledge of laundry equipment and procedures
• Knowledge of safety and sanitation protocols for laundry facilities
