Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Azure SQL Server Developer to join our dynamic team. As an Azure SQL Server Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our database systems on the Azure platform. You will work closely with our development team to ensure that our database solutions are scalable, secure, and performant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database development, with a focus on Azure SQL Server.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement database solutions on the Azure platform
• Collaborate with the development team to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Optimize database performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
• Develop and maintain database backup and disaster recovery plans
• Monitor database activity and performance to ensure high availability and scalability
• Implement and maintain database security protocols
• Keep up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in Azure SQL Server development
• Train and mentor junior team members on Azure SQL Server development best practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in database development, with at least 2 years of experience in Azure SQL Server
• Strong understanding of database architecture and design principles
• Experience with database optimization and performance tuning
• Proficiency in SQL and T-SQL
• Experience with ETL processes and tools
• Knowledge of database security protocols and best practices
• Familiarity with Azure services such as Azure Data Factory and Azure Data Lake
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Azure SQL Server certification is a plus
