Overview: Vitality University is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Curriculum Development Specialist to join our team. As a leading provider of educational resources, we are committed to developing innovative and engaging curriculum materials for our clients. We are looking for a creative and dedicated individual to help us design, develop, and implement high-quality curriculum that meets the needs of our diverse audience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with subject matter experts, educators, and instructional designers to develop curriculum materials for various educational levels and subjects.
• Conduct thorough research and analysis to understand the requirements and objectives of each curriculum project.
• Design and develop instructional materials, including lesson plans, assessments, activities, and multimedia resources.
• Create engaging and interactive learning experiences that align with established learning objectives.
• Incorporate diverse teaching methods and strategies to address the needs of diverse learners.
• Review and revise existing curriculum materials to ensure they meet current standards and best practices.
• Ensure that all curriculum materials are aligned with state and national standards.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest educational trends and research to inform curriculum development.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to promote and showcase our curriculum materials to potential clients.
• Provide training and support to educators on how to effectively use our curriculum materials.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of our curriculum materials and make necessary improvements.
• Manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines while maintaining high quality.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Curriculum Development, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in curriculum development, preferably in the educational publishing industry.
• Strong understanding of curriculum development principles, theories, and best practices.
• Excellent research, writing, and editing skills.
• Proficiency in instructional design and development software, such as Adobe Creative Suite, Articulate Storyline, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of different learning styles and how to design curriculum materials that cater to them.
• Familiarity with state and national education standards.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
