Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage a team of janitorial staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling.
Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure high-quality standards are met.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure that all areas are clean and well-maintained.
Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and tools.
Train staff on proper cleaning techniques and safety protocols.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment for all staff and building occupants.
Handle and resolve any customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Perform regular quality control checks to ensure that work is being completed to company standards.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure that cleaning needs are met for events and special projects.
Prepare and submit reports on the department's performance and progress to upper management.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the janitorial services department.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in custodial services is preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role within the janitorial or facilities management industry.
Strong knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and techniques.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
Ability to lift and move heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform physical tasks as needed.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
