Job Title: Recreation Supervisor

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Recreation Supervisor to join our team. As the Recreation Supervisor, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising a variety of recreational activities for our organization. This position requires an individual who is passionate about creating fun and engaging experiences for individuals of all ages and abilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in recreation management and the ability to lead a team to ensure the success of our recreational programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and supervise a variety of recreational activities for individuals of all ages and abilities
• Develop and implement new programs that appeal to our target audience and align with our organization's goals
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate and promote recreational activities
• Recruit, train, and supervise a team of recreation staff to ensure the smooth operation of recreational programs
• Monitor and maintain inventory of equipment and supplies needed for recreational activities
• Ensure that all safety protocols are followed and maintain a safe and clean environment for all participants
• Manage budget and expenses related to recreational programs
• Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations and partners to enhance recreational programs
• Evaluate the success of recreational programs and make recommendations for improvements
• Handle any issues or concerns that may arise during recreational activities in a professional and timely manner

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Recreation Management, Sports Management, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role in a recreational setting
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lead and motivate a team
• Knowledge of current trends and best practices in recreational programming
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
