Salary: USD: $7,000 - $11,000 per month

Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Academic Advisor to join our team. As an Academic Advisor, you will play a critical role in supporting and guiding students on their academic journey. You will work closely with students to help them reach their academic goals and provide them with the necessary resources and support to succeed. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and a strong understanding of academic policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide academic advising to a diverse student population, including undergraduate and graduate students
• Assist students in developing academic plans and goals based on their interests and abilities
• Monitor student progress and make recommendations for course selection and academic support services
• Educate students on academic policies, procedures, and graduation requirements
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to develop and implement academic support programs and initiatives
• Conduct individual and group advising sessions to address academic, personal, and career concerns
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and advising notes
• Stay informed on changes to academic policies and curriculum requirements
• Serve as a resource for students in navigating the academic system and connecting them with appropriate support services
• Participate in campus events and workshops related to academic advising and student success
• Continuously evaluate and improve advising practices to enhance the overall student experience

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in academic advising or related field
• Strong understanding of academic policies and procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with diverse student populations and handle confidential information with discretion
• Detail-oriented and highly organized
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and student information systems
• Passion for education and student success
