About the Role: As a Public Policy Advisor, you will play a critical role in shaping the policies and regulations that impact our organization and the communities we serve. You will work closely with government officials, community leaders, and other stakeholders to advocate for policies that align with our company's values and goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct extensive research and analysis on federal, state, and local policies and regulations that may impact our organization's operations
• Monitor legislative and regulatory developments and provide timely updates to the leadership team
• Develop and maintain relationships with government officials, community leaders, and other stakeholders to promote our organization's interests
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies to influence policy outcomes
• Prepare and present policy recommendations, position papers, and other advocacy materials to decision-makers and key stakeholders
• Represent our organization at public events, forums, and hearings related to policy issues
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging policy issues
• Identify potential advocacy opportunities and work with the team to develop strategies to leverage them
• Act as a subject matter expert on policy issues and provide guidance to internal teams as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or a related field
• 5 of experience in public policy, government affairs, or a related field
• In-depth knowledge of the legislative and regulatory processes at the federal, state, and local levels
• Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing successful advocacy strategies
• Excellent research, analytical, and critical thinking skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex policy issues to different audiences
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with government officials, community leaders, and other stakeholders
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
• Passion for public policy and a strong commitment to promoting positive change in our communities
