If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you as a Freight Broker.As a Freight Broker, you will play a crucial role in connecting shippers with carriers to facilitate the movement of goods and cargo across different modes of transportation. You will be responsible for negotiating rates, coordinating shipments, and building strong relationships with both shippers and carriers to ensure exceptional service and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain relationships with shippers and carriers to source and secure freight
• Negotiate rates with carriers to ensure competitive pricing for shippers
• Coordinate and manage shipments from pickup to delivery, ensuring timely and efficient transportation
• Monitor and track shipments to provide real-time updates to shippers and carriers
• Resolve any issues or delays in the transportation process, providing exceptional customer service
• Utilize industry knowledge and market trends to identify new business opportunities
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely billing and payment processes
• Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance requirements to ensure all shipments are in compliance
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all shipments and transactions
• Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and productivity

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field (preferred)
• 5 experience in the transportation and logistics industry
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Proficient in using transportation management systems and other relevant software
• Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with shippers and carriers
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
