Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Data Science Senior Project Manager to join our team. As a leader in the data science field, we are constantly working on innovative projects that require a skilled and knowledgeable project manager to oversee their successful completion. In this role, you will be responsible for managing multiple data science projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the established goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the full lifecycle of data science projects, from initiation to closure, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets, and regularly communicate project status and updates to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and business analysts, to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues, and implement appropriate solutions to ensure project success.
• Coach and mentor project team members, providing guidance and support to enable them to achieve their goals.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams, to ensure alignment and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor and track project progress, ensuring that milestones and deadlines are met, and that project deliverables meet quality standards.
• Conduct regular project reviews and evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data science project management, and proactively implement new methodologies and tools to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in project management, data science, computer science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the data science or technology industry.
• Strong project management skills, with a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from initiation to closure.
• In-depth understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
• Experience in managing budgets and resources, and a strong understanding of financial management principles.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• PMP or Agile certification is a plus.
