Position: Sustainability Education Coordinator

Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate individual to join our team as a Sustainability Education Coordinator. This role is responsible for developing and implementing sustainability education programs for our organization, with the goal of promoting environmental awareness and responsibility among our employees, stakeholders, and the wider community. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sustainability and education, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive sustainability education program for our organization, including creating curriculum, lesson plans, and materials.
• Collaborate with various departments to integrate sustainability education into company-wide initiatives and events.
• Conduct research and stay up-to-date on current sustainability trends, practices, and policies to ensure the program's effectiveness.
• Plan and facilitate educational workshops, seminars, and events for employees, stakeholders, and the community.
• Act as a liaison with local schools and universities to promote sustainability education and potential partnerships.
• Partner with external organizations and experts to enhance the program's reach and impact.
• Create and maintain a network of sustainability-minded individuals and organizations to support the program's goals.
• Develop and manage a budget for the sustainability education program.
• Track and report on the program's progress and impact, including participation rates, feedback, and success stories.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in sustainability, environmental studies, education, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in sustainability education or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of sustainability principles, practices, and policies.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present information in a clear and engaging manner.
• Proven experience in curriculum development, instructional design, and facilitation.
• Passion for education and the environment, with the ability to inspire and engage others.
• Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Experience working with diverse groups of people and the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software programs.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as needed.
