Position: Product Merchandiser

Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Product Merchandiser to join our dynamic team. As a Product Merchandiser, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and profitability by effectively managing our product assortment and presentation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our products are accurately represented and strategically showcased to meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement merchandising strategies to maximize sales and profitability
• Analyze sales data and market trends to make informed decisions on product assortment and pricing
• Collaborate with product development and sourcing teams to identify and introduce new products that align with market demand
• Create and maintain product catalogs, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information
• Monitor inventory levels and work with purchasing team to ensure adequate stock levels
• Manage product lifecycle from initial launch to retirement, including forecasting and inventory management
• Partner with marketing and visual merchandising teams to ensure effective product placement and presentation in-store and online
• Continuously monitor and analyze competitor's products and pricing to stay ahead in the market
• Conduct regular store visits to ensure proper execution of merchandising strategies and provide feedback to improve product performance
• Work closely with sales team to understand customer needs and provide product knowledge and support
• Stay updated on industry trends and consumer behavior to identify new opportunities for product development and merchandising strategies

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Marketing, Business or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in product merchandising, retail buying or related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with merchandising software is a plus
• Passion for retail and understanding of market trends and consumer behavior
• Ability to travel and work flexible hours as needed
