Position: Warehouse Supervisor

Location: Tromsø, Norway

Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Warehouse Supervisor to join our team. As the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations and ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a team effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping of products
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of all incoming and outgoing shipments
• Manage and maintain inventory levels to meet customer demands
• Monitor warehouse activities and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
• Train and supervise warehouse staff, including scheduling and delegating tasks
• Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment, adhering to all safety regulations and procedures
• Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of products to customers
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers
• Prepare and submit reports on warehouse activity, including inventory levels, productivity, and any issues that arise
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve warehouse operations

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a warehouse supervisory role
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory management software
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
• Forklift certification is preferred
