Key Responsibilities:

Supervise a team of housekeeping staff, providing guidance and support to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards
Create and maintain cleaning schedules for all areas of the property, including guest rooms, common areas, and back-of-house spaces
Inspect guest rooms and public areas on a daily basis, ensuring they are cleaned and maintained to company standards
Train new housekeeping staff and provide ongoing training and development for current employees
Monitor inventory levels and place orders for cleaning supplies and equipment as needed
Conduct regular performance evaluations for housekeeping staff and provide constructive feedback for improvement
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by enforcing procedures and protocols, and addressing any safety concerns or hazards
Coordinate with other departments, such as maintenance and front desk, to ensure guest requests and complaints are addressed in a timely and satisfactory manner
Respond to guest inquiries and concerns regarding housekeeping services in a professional and courteous manner
Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and common areas to identify any maintenance or repair needs and report them to the appropriate department
Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement new policies and procedures to improve efficiency and guest satisfaction
Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and grooming standards, to maintain a professional and positive image for the company

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or related field is a plus
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a housekeeping supervisory role, preferably in a hotel or resort setting
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Knowledge of cleaning techniques and procedures for various surfaces and materials
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer systems
Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as needed
