Position Title: Project Manager - Civil Engineering

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team of civil engineering professionals. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of civil engineering projects from conception to completion. You will work closely with clients, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and manage all aspects of civil engineering projects, including budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.
• Collaborate with clients to determine project requirements, goals, and objectives.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to develop project plans and designs.
• Oversee the preparation of project proposals, contracts, and other documentation.
• Monitor project progress, identify and resolve any issues or delays, and ensure compliance with project specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Manage project budgets and timelines, and report on project progress to stakeholders.
• Lead project meetings and effectively communicate project updates and status to stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance and support to project team members.
• Review and approve project deliverables to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Identify and develop strategies to mitigate project risks.
• Ensure all project activities are carried out in accordance with safety standards and regulations.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
• Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager in the civil engineering industry.
• In-depth knowledge of civil engineering principles, concepts, and practices.
• Strong project management, budgeting, and scheduling skills.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
• Proficient in project management software and tools.
• Knowledge of regulatory and safety standards in the civil engineering industry.
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• PMP certification is a plus.
