Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Donor Relations Specialist to join our team. As a Donor Relations Specialist, you will play a critical role in cultivating and maintaining relationships with donors and ensuring their continued support for our organization. You will work closely with our fundraising team to develop and implement strategies that engage and steward donors, ultimately helping us to achieve our fundraising goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain relationships with current and potential donors through various communication channels such as email, phone calls, and in-person meetings.
• Serve as the main point of contact for donors, responding to inquiries and providing updates on our organization's programs and impact.
• Work closely with the fundraising team to create and implement donor engagement strategies that align with our organization's goals and objectives.
• Plan and execute donor appreciation events, including donor recognition ceremonies, tours of our organization's facilities, and other cultivation activities.
• Collaborate with our marketing and communications team to create compelling donor materials, including impact reports, newsletters, and social media content.
• Research and identify potential new donors, develop cultivation plans, and assist with donor solicitation efforts.
• Utilize our donor management system to track donor interactions, update donor records, and generate reports on donor activity.
• Continuously monitor and analyze donor data to identify trends, evaluate the success of donor engagement strategies, and make recommendations for improvement.
• Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and trends in donor relations to enhance our organization's fundraising efforts.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Nonprofit Management, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in donor relations, fundraising, or nonprofit development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and effectively communicate with donors.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated experience in event planning and execution.
• Proficient in using donor management systems and other fundraising tools.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations.
