Overview: As the Nanotechnology Product Development Manager, you will be responsible for managing the entire product development process, from ideation to commercialization. You will lead a team of researchers and engineers in developing new nanotechnology-based products and improving existing ones. This is a critical role that requires a strong mix of technical expertise, project management skills, and leadership abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the product development process, including defining project scope, setting timelines, and managing resources to meet project deadlines.
• Conduct market research and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify potential product opportunities and develop innovative solutions.
• Develop and implement product development strategies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives.
• Oversee the design, testing, and validation of new products, ensuring they meet quality and performance standards.
• Continuously monitor and assess market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to stay ahead of the curve and drive product innovation.
• Manage relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other external partners to ensure timely delivery of materials and components.
• Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop product positioning, messaging, and launch plans.
• Collaborate with the legal team to protect the company's intellectual property and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Mentor and coach team members, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their full potential.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Nanotechnology, Materials Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master's or PhD preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in product development, preferably in the nanotechnology industry.
• Strong understanding of nanotechnology principles and applications.
• Proven track record of successfully managing the development and commercialization of new products.
• Experience in project management and using project management tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively work with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
