Position: Investment Banking Analyst

Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Investment Banking Analyst to join our dynamic team. As an Investment Banking Analyst, you will have the opportunity to work closely with senior bankers and industry experts to provide financial advisory and capital raising services to a diverse range of clients. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in investment banking, as well as exposure to a variety of industries and transaction types.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct extensive financial analysis and modeling to support financial advisory and capital raising transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, and debt and equity offerings
• Prepare pitch materials, presentations, and marketing materials for potential clients and investors
• Conduct industry and market research to identify potential opportunities and trends
• Assist in the due diligence process, including reviewing and analyzing financial statements, conducting company and industry research, and preparing due diligence materials
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, accounting, and tax, to ensure the successful execution of transactions
• Develop and maintain financial models and databases to support the analysis and valuation of companies
• Communicate and interact with clients, investors, and other stakeholders to facilitate the successful completion of transactions
• Assist in the preparation of investment memorandums and other transaction-related documents
• Monitor and track market trends, industry news, and regulatory developments that may impact client transactions

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
• 1-2 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or related field
• Strong financial analysis and modeling skills
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of valuation techniques and financial markets
• Series 79 and 63 licenses (or willingness to obtain them)
