Position: AWS Deployment Engineer

About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated AWS Deployment Engineer to join our dynamic team. As an AWS Deployment Engineer, you will play a critical role in implementing and maintaining our company's cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS). You will be responsible for deploying, configuring, and managing our applications and services on AWS, ensuring their reliability, scalability, and security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement highly available and scalable AWS infrastructure to support our applications and services.
• Develop and maintain deployment scripts and automation tools to streamline deployment processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and design deployment solutions that align with business objectives.
• Monitor and troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Manage AWS resources and services, including EC2 instances, S3 buckets, RDS databases, and more.
• Implement and maintain security best practices, including IAM policies, encryption, and access controls.
• Conduct regular performance and cost optimization exercises to improve the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of our AWS infrastructure.
• Maintain documentation and provide training to other team members on AWS deployment processes and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in deploying and managing applications on AWS.
• Strong understanding of AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and more.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK.
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and version control systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) are a plus.
