Position: Photography Assistant

Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Photography Assistant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for photography and a strong desire to learn and grow within the field. As a Photography Assistant, you will work closely with our photographers and assist in all aspects of the photography process. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and creative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist photographers with setting up and breaking down equipment, including lighting, cameras, and props.
• Prepare and organize props and backdrops for photoshoots.
• Help with styling and arranging props to create visually appealing compositions.
• Ensure that all equipment is in proper working condition and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
• Assist with the transportation of equipment to and from photoshoot locations.
• Manage and maintain inventory of photography supplies and equipment.
• Keep track of shot lists and assist in ensuring all desired shots are captured.
• Help with the editing and retouching of photos as needed.
• Assist with the organization and management of digital files and archives.
• Provide general support to photographers and other team members as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Photography, Visual Arts, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in a photography-related role.
• Proficient in using photography equipment and software, including Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to take direction and work collaboratively with a team.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility to work irregular hours and travel to different locations for photoshoots.
• A portfolio showcasing your photography skills is required.
