Job Title: Server

Position Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Server to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth and efficient dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong communication skills, and an ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and timely manner
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
• Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
• Ensure guest satisfaction by providing attentive and personalized service
• Monitor and anticipate guests' needs throughout their dining experience
• Handle guest inquiries and concerns professionally and escalate to management when necessary
• Collaborate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate food and beverage service
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas and equipment
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and any changes in ingredients or preparation methods
• Upsell menu items and promote special events or promotions to guests
• Process payments and accurately handle cash and credit card transactions
• Assist with opening and closing duties as needed
• Continuously strive to improve guest satisfaction and provide a positive dining experience

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a server in a fast-paced restaurant
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage service procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
• Knowledge of POS systems and basic math skills
• Food safety certification is a plus
• Passion for providing exceptional customer service
