Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement wireless network infrastructure, including access points, controllers, and associated hardware.
• Conduct network analysis and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues related to wireless network performance and connectivity.
• Develop and maintain network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate wireless technology into the overall network infrastructure.
• Monitor and maintain the performance of the wireless network, ensuring optimal service levels and identifying areas for improvement.
• Implement and maintain network security protocols to protect the organization's wireless network from external threats.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest wireless technology trends and advancements, making recommendations for network improvements as necessary.
• Provide technical support and guidance to end-users on wireless network-related issues.
• Conduct network capacity planning to anticipate and accommodate future network growth.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support and troubleshooting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining wireless networks.
• Industry certifications such as CWNP, CCNA, or CCNP are highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of wireless technologies, including 802.11 standards, Wi-Fi authentication protocols, and wireless security protocols.
• Experience with wireless network monitoring tools and troubleshooting techniques.
• Proficient in network design and implementation, including VLANs, routing, and switching.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
