About the Role: We are seeking a talented and passionate Glass and Ceramic Artist to join our team at CrystalCraft Glass & Ceramics. As a Glass and Ceramic Artist, you will be responsible for creating unique and innovative pieces of art using glass and ceramic materials. This is a full-time position that offers a creative and dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and create glass and ceramic pieces using various techniques such as glassblowing, pottery, and kiln firing.
• Develop new and original designs that align with current trends and customer demands.
• Collaborate with the design team to conceptualize and produce custom pieces for clients.
• Source and select high-quality materials for the production of glass and ceramic pieces.
• Utilize specialized tools and equipment to shape, mold, and manipulate glass and ceramic materials.
• Ensure that all finished pieces meet quality standards and are free from defects.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and techniques to continually improve the quality of work.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace and adhere to safety protocols at all times.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Glass and Ceramic Arts, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proven portfolio of glass and ceramic pieces showcasing your creativity and technical skills.
• Strong understanding of different techniques and processes involved in glass and ceramic art.
• Proficient in the use of specialized tools and equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong time-management and organizational skills.
• Passion for art and creativity.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
