Position: Philanthropy Manager

Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Philanthropy Manager to join our dynamic and growing team. As the Philanthropy Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to cultivate relationships with donors and secure funding for our organization. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive philanthropy strategy to engage and retain donors, and increase funding for our organization
• Identify and cultivate relationships with potential major donors, foundations, and corporate partners
• Plan and execute fundraising events and campaigns to support our organization's initiatives
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement effective communication strategies to engage donors and promote our organization's mission and impact
• Manage a portfolio of major donors and oversee the donor stewardship process, ensuring timely and personalized communication and recognition
• Conduct research on potential donors and prepare customized proposals and presentations to secure funding
• Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely tracking of donations and reporting to donors
• Provide leadership and support to the philanthropy team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture
• Stay up-to-date with philanthropy trends and best practices, and make recommendations for continuous improvement and growth of our philanthropy program

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in philanthropy, fundraising, or sales, with a proven track record of securing major gifts and/or grants
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and inspire donors and stakeholders
• Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to cultivate and maintain partnerships with diverse stakeholders
• Proven experience in developing and implementing successful fundraising strategies and campaigns
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in donor management software and Microsoft Office Suite
