Job Title: Principal Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain our data infrastructure, including data warehouses, data lakes, and ETL pipelines.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and design solutions that support their needs.
• Develop and implement data quality and governance processes to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Lead the design and implementation of scalable and efficient data processing systems.
• Mentor and coach junior data engineers, providing technical guidance and support.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest data engineering technologies and best practices, and make recommendations for improvement.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner.
• Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in data engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership or mentorship role.
• Strong experience with data warehousing, database design, and ETL processes.
• Proficient in SQL and programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong analytical mindset.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
