Position: Data Modeler

Job Overview: Our company is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Data Modeler to join our team. As a Data Modeler, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data models that will help us organize, manage, and extract insights from our large datasets. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of database management systems and will be able to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and data scientists to understand their data needs and requirements
• Design, develop, and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models
• Perform data analysis to identify data relationships and dependencies
• Ensure data models are in compliance with data governance standards and best practices
• Work closely with database administrators to implement data models in production environments
• Troubleshoot and resolve data modeling issues and optimize performance
• Develop and maintain data dictionaries and data lineage documentation
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data modeling techniques

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Modeler or in a similar role
• Strong understanding of database management systems such as Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL
• Proficient in data modeling tools such as ER/Studio, ERwin, or PowerDesigner
• Experience with data modeling for both relational and non-relational databases
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and techniques
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
