Job Title: Philanthropy Officer

Position Overview: We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Philanthropy Officer to join our dynamic team. As a Philanthropy Officer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to raise funds from individual and corporate donors to support our organization's mission and goals. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain relationships with individual and corporate donors to secure financial support for our organization
• Identify, research, and cultivate prospective donors through various channels, including events, networking, and referrals
• Develop and implement strategies to engage donors and increase their contributions over time
• Collaborate with internal teams to create compelling fundraising campaigns and events that align with the organization's mission and values
• Create and maintain a donor database and track donation progress to inform fundraising strategies
• Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals to potential donors
• Plan and execute donor stewardship and recognition activities to ensure continued support and engagement
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulations related to philanthropy and fundraising
• Represent the organization at networking events and conferences to build relationships and promote our mission

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Philanthropy, Nonprofit Management, Marketing, or related field
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in philanthropy or fundraising, preferably in a nonprofit setting
• Proven track record of successfully securing donations from individual and corporate donors
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and networking skills
• Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of fundraising techniques and best practices
• Proficient in donor management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Passion for philanthropy and making a positive impact in the community
