Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement crop production plans based on climate, soil conditions, and market demand.
Monitor crop growth and health, and recommend adjustments to cultivation practices to optimize yields.
Utilize precision agriculture techniques, such as soil mapping and remote sensing, to improve crop management.
Identify and address potential pest and disease issues, and implement appropriate control measures.
Conduct soil and tissue analysis to determine nutrient deficiencies, and make recommendations for fertilization and irrigation.
Manage and maintain farm equipment, ensuring proper operation and safety protocols.
Collaborate with other team members to plan and execute planting, harvesting, and other farm operations.
Keep detailed records of crop production data, including yields, expenses, and inputs.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in crop production techniques.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in crop production, preferably in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of crop management techniques, soil fertility, and irrigation systems.
Familiarity with precision agriculture technologies and software.
Ability to operate and maintain farm equipment.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities.
