Position: Project Manager - Civil Engineering

About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our team in the field of Civil Engineering. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and construction of various civil engineering projects. You will work closely with the project team, contractors, and clients to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and manage civil engineering projects from start to finish, ensuring compliance with all project requirements, regulations, and standards.
• Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans and monitor progress to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
• Collaborate with the project team, including engineers, architects, and contractors, to develop project plans, designs, and specifications.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure work is being carried out according to plans and specifications.
• Manage project documentation and communicate project progress to stakeholders, including clients, senior management, and regulatory authorities.
• Identify potential risks and issues and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Manage project budgets, including tracking expenses, approving invoices, and negotiating contracts.
• Lead project meetings and ensure effective communication between all stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards on project sites.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the civil engineering industry.
• Solid understanding of civil engineering principles, practices, and standards.
• Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of project management software and tools.
• PMP certification is preferred.
